Game Rules and Regulations
I. General Rules
- Registrations
The game, Utopia Kingdoms, is a free web-based game. All players registering must abide by the Terms and Conditions as noted in the website footer.
- Accounts
Players are only allowed to have one account per game world.
ІІ. Restrictions and Punishments
- Multi-accounting
- Multi-accounting is when one user creates more than one account. This is forbidden and will be punished without warning by deleting all of the user's accounts. The punishment applies for all accounts regardless of their stage of development.
- Players that use the same computer/IP address must inform an administrator after registration, through support or the game's forum. Players that haven't informed support that they will play from the same computer/IP address will be considered in violation of the rules and will be punished. When playing from a single computer/IP address the players are forbidden from the following:
- Sending resources to the other account.
- In any way helping the other account.
- Participating in mutual actions against a third person.
- Logging on to more than one account at a time from the same computer.
- Sending any kind of march between the two accounts - except for espionage and patrol. Exceptions are made if the march never reaches the target - i.e., gets called back before it reaches its destination.
- Joining the same Clan.
- The following behaviour will also be considered evidence of multi-accounting between two or more accounts on the same computer/IP address:
- Sending resources to a castle, from where it is taken with one or more attacks.
- Constant attacks with a smaller army in order to create field for gathering by the attacked castle.
- Creating additional accounts to spy, to save the main account from training Quickwalkers.
- Taking resources through multiple accounts with the aim of eventually getting them to the main account.
- Babysitting
Babysitting is when a player with an account accesses the account of another person. On every login, IP, session, and browser information is recorded on the server. Babysitting is forbidden and will be punished in the following ways:
- The first time, both users' accounts will be blocked for 24 hours and are not able to be attacked. During this time they are obligated to contact the administration and explain their actions.
- The second time, both users' accounts will be blocked for 5 days and will be able to be attacked.
- The third time, both users' accounts will be blocked permanently and will be able to be attacked.
- When accounts are traded/given, the new owner is obligated to change the username of the account and is also recommended to change the email address. The player that gets the account is also obligated to find a new owner for his old account, or to go in vacation mode until the account has been deleted for inactivity. Any entry into the old account by the user after he has taken over a new one is considered multi-accounting and will be punished. Users that take part in this type of exchange are responsible for their own actions and support is not obligated to resolve the problems that may appear later.
- Selling accounts is forbidden in the game. The exchange of coins for resources is also forbidden.
- Bugs and Exploits
A bug is considered a weakness or mistake in the game's scripting that allows a player to better his conditions in a way forbidden by the game's rules and/or that interferes with the game's servers or staff and/or which disrupts the software.
- If a player finds a bug in the game he is obligated to inform support about it immediately. If the user deliberately exploits this bug and does not inform support, he will face punishment.
- If the player uses a reported but not fixed bug, his army will be reduced by half.
- If a player finds a way to forcibly breach the game's security his account will be deleted.
The company and its partners reserve all rights of prosecution in all territories.
- Bots
Bots are considered to be (automatic) scripts in all forms that simulate activity in an account - except for the automated scripts in the game. Using bots in any way is forbidden, and when there is proof that a user uses a bot, the user's right to enter his account is permanently annulled until the end of the round. Any activity of greater than 20 hours per day for four or more sequential days will be deemed suspicious.
- Blackmail and Insults
Any kinds of blackmail, insults or threats, that are sent to players can lead to the temporary or permanent blocking of the offending player's account. Support can also decide to ban the user from the forums, or any other sites affiliated with the game.
- Punishments
Notwithstanding the rules listed above, the following will also be punishable:
- Trying to put a member of the game's support staff under pressure to get an edge in the game.
- Trying in any way to get the confidential information of another player. Publication of battle or espionage reports on public forums without the agreement of both sides is also punished - though it is permissible to share intelligence with your clan.
- Not following the rules about playing from a single computer/using IP covering software, public proxy servers, etc.
- Uncensored and insulting nicknames or avatars in the game or on the forum.
- Insults or threats to the game's staff or other players, no matter the time, place, or method.
