To help protect the game from unwanted bots, you will see a captcha every hour which you will need to solve to continue to play. These captchas are simple for humans to complete, but are hard to solve automatically.
There are also time limits set on the number of hours you may play a day - again, to protect against botting. Each player can play up to 20 hours per day (calculated at an unsurprising 24 hours). In the "Overview" section of the game you can find a counter showing your play time for the day. The time is recorded each hour and 50 minutes (12:50, 13:50, 14:50, and so on). The game calculates your inactivity by minutes, and your presence by hours. So it doesn't matter if you played a whole hour between 12:50 and 13:50, or you have just logged in once through this period - in both cases your playtime will be recorded as one hour.
Our advice is that when you see "Online: 19 hours" in the "Overview" menu, stop playing immediately for at least 4 hours. If the sign says "Online: 20 hours", this means that you already have broken the game rules and you will be punished! On the 18th and 19th hours you will receive a personal message with a warning that you are close to the maximum playtime. After reaching the 20th hour, the account will be locked, and for the next 6 hours you will unable to log in, but you may be attacked by other players.
After 14 days of inactivity, a castle can be attacked by everybody no matter the level. After 31 days of inactivity, the account is automatically deleted. Inactive players are shown differently on the map - their settlements appear semi-transparent 14 days after their last activity.
This is an overview of your settlement, where information on your resources and buildings is available.
