BB Code

In the clan information field you can use BB code tags, which allow you to alter the text, add a picture, or add a link to another page.

Text Formatting

You can apply all sorts of text formatting, using BB code - see the following list, for examples:

• Bold: [b]Hello![/b] appears as: Hello!
• Underline: [u]Hello![/u] appears as: Hello!
• Italic: [i]Hello![/i] appears as: Hello!
• Colour: [color=red]Hello![/color] appears as: Hello!
- or you can use the hexadecimal colour value, like this:
• Hex Colour: [color=#FF0000]Hello![/color] appears as: Hello!
- see the bottom of this page for a list of colours!
• Size: [size=6]small[/size] appears as: small
• Size: [size=24]BIG![/size] appears as: BIG!

You can also combine the tags, to really get people's attention - for example, [size=18][color=red][b]LOOK AT ME![/b][/color][/size] appears as: LOOK AT ME!. You must be careful to close all tags in the correct order - e.g., [b][u][/b][/u] will not work - but [b][u][/u][/b] will! You may combine tags in any order, as long as you close them in the correct way.

Links

You can add links in a number of different ways - note that all links are opened in a new window.

The first method is [url=][/url] - you should put the URL after the '=' character, and the text between the tags will turn into a link, e.g., [url=http://www.utopiakingdoms.com/]Visit Utopia Kingdoms![/url] appears as: Visit Utopia Kingdoms!

If you only want to show the link, use [url]http://www.utopiakingdoms.com/[/url], which will appear as: http://www.utopiakingdoms.com/

The same principle applies to email address, by using [email]no.one@domain.adr[/email], which appears as: no.one@domain.adr

As with all BB code tags, you can apply more than one to a piece of text, e.g. [url][img][/img][/url] (see below), [url][b][/b][/url], etc. Remember to use the correct tag order, and to close all tags in order - i.e., don't use something like this: [url][img][/url][/img] - you must close the image tag before you close the url tag, or it won't work.

Images

You can add an image by using the BB code [img=][/img]. Make sure the image you wish to link to is uploaded somewhere online, and the site allows hotlinking. As an example, [img=http://help.utopiakingdoms.com/helpimages/uk/small/skill11-sage.jpg][/img] will appear as:
