The Map

The map in Utopia Kingdoms is organized as a coordinate system, going from 1 to 200. On the right, you will see a detailed map of the current area - showing the settlements of players in that particular zone. Each settlement will have a different look and different symbols, depending on the player's level and status. You can find out the corresponding level of the player and what these symbols mean by clicking on the "View Map Legend" link, on the left.

At the top, on the left, is another smaller map - this time displaying an overview of the land in a particular 8x8 unit grid. All settlements are marked as a coloured grid square, and again, you can look-up the exact meaning of each colour by viewing the map legend.

Global News displays information on major events in the world - e.g., wars between clans, marriages, and other affairs. The Scavenging Overview is a VIP option showing the coordinates of nearby recent battle fields from which resources may be gathered. To get information on the number of resources available from a given location, mouseover the coordinates of that settlement.

More on coordinates - each player is uniquely addressed using the coordinate system - for example, if your coordinates are 40:35, it means that your position on the X-axis is 40 and on the Y-axis is 35. When your units are travelling, they will go in a straight line, directly from their origin to their destination point - making distance quite simple to calculate.

Any player can be found by simply knowing their coordinates - on the left there is a search bar that allows you to enter any set of coordinates in the game. If you have a premium account you may bookmark players so you may easily find them again without needing to search - use the VIP limited "Hotlinks" option.

If you are having trouble with the map - e.g., if you can't see it, or other, similar catastrophes - please delete your browser cookies:
